The Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE provides comprehensive, professional counselling services by experienced, qualified Counsellors.
The role of Counsellor is to assist the TAFE community in addressing the individual physical, emotional, social, educational and vocational needs of students, and where necessary work with teachers to assist students to achieve their personal and educational potential.
This free and confidential service is available to staff, students and prospective students of the Barrier Reef Institute of TAFE.

Career and vocational counselling is for students and prospective students to help them to take responsibility for their career planning and development in order to cope better with the changing world of work.
